We are not sales people so you will not be sold at! It doesn't mean we are not keen to make a living, it just means that we do not adopt some of the high-pressure selling techniques of other agencies or consultancies.
Working on a retained basis allows us to focus our efforts on completing your project successfully and well rather than worrying if we are churning CVs around to you quickly enough to beat the competition to the finish line. We aim to get well-filtered short listed candidates to you within the optimum time. All this helps to establish the effective working relationship that our feedback tells us you really want from recruitment consultants.
We aim to take a comprehensive brief and help you to pull this together. In our experience speaking directly to the person to whom the successful candidate will report is a prerequisite for a better recruitment process. Knowing their requirements, both formal and informal, will help increase the chances of a good quality person specification and a carefully selected shortlist.
We know from experience that candidates are frequently the forgotten element in the recruitment process. In this era of the tightest recruitment market for over 20 years, consultancies and companies that forget the needs of the candidate are always going to struggle to recruit what they want. We ensure that candidates are well looked after in their contact with us to make sure your business is always well thought of. At all times in the recruitment process the candidate must be left with a positive disposition towards your business. If not, they will vote with their feet! Our flexibility extends to things such as weekend interviews for candidates so that they do not have to take valuable holiday time to attend an interview or to make lame excuses to their current company.
We also want to ensure that candidates are well briefed on what you are actually offering to avoid any time wasting in the recruitment process.
We don't send unsolicited CVs but do agree with you what sort of skills you may want to look at if we come across them. In other words, we work with you, not independent of you.
After a new recruit starts with you we will contact them periodically to see how they are getting along. We aim to make sure that first day nerves don't get the better of them and that they stay with you for a productive and mutually rewarding career. It sometimes happens that we can persuade a new recruit to stay through a bad time when they may otherwise be thinking of leaving soon after starting.
