What You Can Expect From Us
We want to build on-going relationships with our candidates.
It’s a difficult world out there at times and having helpful
and friendly faces to call upon can prove to be invaluable. In order
to build a relationship with you we will do the following:
- Do what we say we will do
- Not do what we say we won’t do
- Try to do the things we say we will try to do
The things we will do are:
- Make it easy for you to register with us both in terms of time
and effort.
- Treat your data with complete confidentiality.
- Provide you with as much information as is possible about the
vacancy and company.
- Encourage you to do your own research – it is good practice and
helps you remember it better.
- Provide help around good interview skills and practice either on
this website, or if time allows it, face-2-face or telephone
support.
- During the course of 2006 each successful candidate will be
allowed £250 to donate to his or her chosen charity.
- Provide feedback for interviewed candidates about how they did
at the interview.
- Keep candidates up to date with progress on their application in
a timely manner.
What we will not do:
- Keep in touch with regular calls to people on our database even
if they are not shortlisted for any current vacancies. Why? Two
reasons:
- Firstly it is very easy to get to the point where there are
10000 plus CVs on a database. A catch up call may only
take 5 minutes but that would mean a minimum of 50000 minutes or
the equivalent of 5 weeks work without breaks and sleep! You get
the picture.
- Secondly, why ring you up to tell you “nothings
happening” – there’s enough bad news in the
recruitment process without us adding unnecessary news.
- Send your CV to a company without your approval.
- Tolerate our good name being tarnished by inappropriate
behaviour from candidates we forward to our clients.
What we will try to do:
- Be a cherished friend and associate to people keen to progress
their careers.
- Encourage employers to remember that candidates have decisions
to make about companies just as companies have decisions to make
about candidates, and all that this entails.
